Episode Notes

Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is 60 Seconds, your daily dose of hope, imagination, wisdom, stories, practical tips, and general riffing on this and that.

You’ve heard my brother-in-law Steve Schuch’s haunting music here and on my guest interviews. [Mer’s Waltz and Entering Erdenheim from Crossing the Waters album - Night Heron Music]

I’d like to offer you a trailer for the official release of 2020 America the Dream  in advance of a more in-depth interview with Steve. This marvelous “power of song” project was born out of Steve’s vision to take a tune we know (America the Beautiful) and marry it to words by Martin Luther King thereby re-envisioning what is beautiful about America: what we hold in common.

Please take an opportunity to check out the Episode Notes for links to the website, watch the videos, enjoy the press release, download the free sheet music, and spread 2020 America the Dream around like grape jelly on a toddler.

"Oh beautiful, when children sing...

Free from hate and fear

Now hear their laughter pure and sweet,

Young voices ringing clear...."
