Stories From Women Who Walk

60 Seconds Enticing Clients To Stay

Episode Summary

What authentic experiences and unexpected solutions do you - and you alone - have to offer to clients?

Episode Notes

Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is 60 Seconds, your daily dose of hope, imagination, wisdom, stories, practical tips, and general riffing on this and that.

I’m fascinated by flash mobs. The idea that 1 group of people can wander into another group of people like streams eddying into a river and offer art in the form of music - providing unexpected delight, a moment of magic - and then the players drift apart. But no one who was in the presence of that experience can say they are exactly the same as before the last note faded away. Why? We are moved by authentic experiences. Like water in rivers, the final note heard is the last of what has been played and the first of what's yet to come. [Quote adapted from Leonardo da Vinci]

Question: How do you entice clients to stay and anticipate what’s yet to come? What authentic experiences and unexpected solutions do you have to offer?
