Wednesdays on Whidbey Christmas Day 2024 calls for settling in to listen as I tell you the story of How the Grinch Stole Christmas - as I learned it - decades ago - by heart!
Hello to you listening where your feet touch the ground!
Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is Stories From Women Who Walk with 60 Seconds for Wednesdays on Whidbey Christmas Day and your host, Diane Wyzga.
Years ago I learned to tell this story by heart because it became extra special to me when I was dating a fellow named Alan who took me on a cross-country skiing weekend at the Garnet Hill Lodge in upstate New York. Since then not a Christmas goes by that I don’t get to tell it in domestic abuse shelters, libraries, family gatherings, anywhere that story is welcome. So settle in all comfy and listen.
From my home here on Whidbey Island to you where your feet touch the ground I wish you and yours a time to celebrate our hearts growing three sizes this day! Let us be of Love a little more careful than anything else this Season!
You’re always invited: “Come for the stories - stay for the magic!” Speaking of magic, would you subscribe and spread the word with a generous 5-star review and comment - it helps us all - and join us next time!
