Stories From Women Who Walk

60 Seconds for Story Prompt Friday: As the Mountains Are You Are.

Episode Summary

Remember your own magnificence, whole and complete in your existence; and write that story!

Episode Notes

Hello to you in Miliani Town, Hawaii!

Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is 60 Seconds for Story Prompt Friday with questions carefully chosen to help you collect stories in the oral tradition or spark your own writing. Either way, you'll say, "Thanks for the memories."

From my walk at Greenbank Farm I can look across the bay to the Cascade Mountains in the east. The range extends from southern British Columbia all the way south to Northern California. What is special about them? Waterfalls; hundreds of them, big and small, that cascade down streams and plunge over cliffs, carrying huge amounts of water from winter rains and melting snow.

What else? They simply exist in their magnificence. They don’t need us to attach any meaning. They simply are. And that is meaning enough.

Story Prompt: Sometimes we forget how magnificent we are. Just like the mountains we are complete in our existence. How about you? How are you magnificent? Write that story!

Practical Tip: The magic of stories is also in the sharing. If you wish share your story with someone or something.   All that matters is you have a story.

This is the place to thrive together.
