Stories From Women Who Walk

60 Seconds For Story Prompt Friday - Further Creating And Shaping Your Business Story

Episode Notes

Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is 60 Seconds for Story Prompt Friday with several questions carefully chosen to help you collect stories in the oral tradition or spark your own writing. Either way, you'll say, "Thanks for the memories."

Last week  you got the opportunity to begin creating your business story with a traditional story opening. It was an exercise in right brain creativity and imagery designed to help you imagine what you have not yet seen. Especially if you dwell in the Land of Facts.

Question: What did you discover? What surprised you? What unsettled you? Who were the characters? What did they do or fail to do? What challenges did they face?

Prompt: Begin to identify how the character/s responded to the challenges, events, or tasks they faced. What qualities and values underscored their actions? How do those qualities and values inform your business story? What’s happening next to shape that story?

Practical Tip: Share your story with someone or something: your journal, your colleagues, your animal companion, your Master Mind Group. All that matters is you keep inviting your richly rewarding right brain to continue creating the story you want to shape and tell.

This is the place to thrive together. Come for the stories - stay for the magic.  Speaking of magic, would you share a nice rating/review on iTunes and when you come back bring your friends and rellies.
