60 Seconds For Story Prompt Friday: Promote Your Idea!

Episode Summary

What bold, ingenious, fun notion promoted your idea?

Episode Notes

Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is 60 Seconds for Story Prompt Friday with questions carefully chosen to help you collect stories in the oral tradition or spark your own writing. Either way, you'll say, "Thanks for the memories."

The Grammy Museum in Los Angeles seeks to educate and inspire visitors as to the enduring qualities and cultural significance of all genres of music. What you’ll see there - among other things - are displays on the museum walls of musicians who scored a Grammy Award.

In 2013 the indy artist Paz Dylan smuggled in his own professional-looking fake posters extolling his so-called award-winning musical accomplishments and hung them in the museum. It was a month before anyone noticed the prank.

Story Prompt: When have you relied on good, old fashioned, out-of-the-box ingenuity to promote your idea and have a little fun while doing it? Share *that* story!

Practical Tip: If you wish share your story with someone or something: your journal, your animal companion, the trees in the woods, your loved one, colleagues, master mind group. All that matters is you remember when you were bold and ingenious, promoted your idea, and had a good time!

This is the place to thrive together. Come for the stories - stay for the magic.  Speaking of magic, would you share a nice rating/review on Apple Podcasts and when you come back bring your friends and rellies.
