60 Seconds for Story Prompt Friday: TIP => How to Get From Breakdown to Breakthrough

Episode Summary

Time and hindsight become growth and opportunity

Episode Notes

Hello to you listening in Aukland, New Zealand!

Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is Stories From Women Who Walk with 60 Seconds for Story Prompt Friday and your host, Diane Wyzga.

There is a gift in hindsight!

Hindsight can show us how a breakdown becomes a breakthrough, a spiritual crisis becomes a spiritual awakening, a trail of tears becomes the trail of gratitude.

It has to be hindsight because when we’re swamped by difficult situations we feel scared, uncertain, anxious, or worse. Then time passes.

Now, we can look at the gift in what we perceived as complete and utter failure to create a new life, share our ideas, grow our business, and so on.

What we perceived as failure becomes the opportunity we could not appreciate when we were feeling like a loser.

Time and hindsight become growth.

Story Prompt:  Think about a time when it looked like you had failed miserably, but with time and hindsight you grasped the opportunity for a do-over.  What happened then? Write that story!
