If you could choose one word to help you navigate the coming weeks and months, what would it be and why?
Hello to you Rita Ernst Showing Up Positive in Louisville, Kentucky!
Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is Stories From Women Who Walk with 60 Seconds for Story Prompt Friday and your host, Diane Wyzga
My dad used to say something that always set my teeth on edge: “Diane, ease into the day.” Ease? The eldest daughter of 7 children gets to ease into the day? And who will do all of what needs doing?
My dad knew what he was talking about. And fortunately for me I finally stopped to pay attention to him.
My word of the year is EASE! I don’t have to prove anything. I can go like a river. Without apology. When I hit the rapids, as this river kayaker knows well, I’ll paddle like heck, navigate, avoid the rocks, seek safe harbor to weather the storm. Along the way I’m attracting Abundance like iron filings to a magnet. Doing my creatively fulfilling Ikigai work. I know that what I’m looking for is looking for me; we’ll meet up soon enough. Dad was right. I can ease into the day.
Story Prompt: We are just now easing into Begin Anew Year 2024. If you could choose one word to help you navigate the coming weeks and months, what would it be and why? Write that story!
