Stories From Women Who Walk

60 Seconds For Time Out Tuesday: My Mind Is A Clear Blue Sky

Episode Summary

I guess I have to change myself.

Episode Notes

Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is 60 Seconds, your daily dose of hope, imagination, wisdom, stories, practical tips, and general riffing on this and that.

My neighbor is a decidedly wretched person who lives with her equally wretched aunt. No amount of anything has changed the situation. I imagine I have to change myself.

When my Bad Mind Radio begins to play I have to choose to turn down the volume and breathe deep, reminding myself that thoughts come, thoughts go, my mind is a clear blue sky.

Granted I have to do this every 20 seconds or so but heck! What’s the point of training if you don’t train?

Question: How are you taking a time out from what might be ailing you?
