Stories From Women Who Walk

60 Seconds for Wednesdays on Whidbey: Stop Whining and Start Over.

Episode Summary

When we realize that a great wind is bearing us across our lives we might be more able to stop whining and start over.

Episode Notes

Hello to you in Toronto, Ontario, Canada!

Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is 60 Seconds, your daily dose of hope, imagination, wisdom, stories, practical tips, and general riffing on this and that.

Sometimes I go about in such pity for myself when all the while a great wind is bearing me across my Life. I focus on the pity and forget about the great wind. Today my ancestors advise me to call on my ingenuity and imagination to love my Life even more than ever before.

My ancestors added this: they want me to pay extra attention to showing kindness to strangers. In this way, some, without knowing it, have had angels as their guests.

What the ancestors want me to know is that angels, like ancestors, are swayed not because of our tears but because we agree to begin anew.  In short, stop whining and start over! A great wind is bearing you across your Life.
