Stories From Women Who Walk

60 Seconds for Wednesdays on Whidbey: Story Walking the Labyrinth.

Episode Summary

Decades of story and communication coaching work have taught me that walking is the best way to draw a story out of ourselves or someone else; and a labyrinth could make it even better.

Episode Notes

Hello to you in Cleveland, Ohio!

Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is 60 Seconds, your daily dose of hope, imagination, wisdom, stories, practical tips, and general riffing on this and that.

From the first time I saw one I wanted it. A labyrinth! Now I can build it. On my front lawn. Pull up the sod, landscape a pollinator garden, and lay down a walking labyrinth. Why? If walking is good for creativity, imagine surrendering to the sacred path, awakening to a deep rhythm, summoning our innate wisdom as we walk a labyrinth.

What if this labyrinth could become a motivating, meditating, inspiring, gathering space to connect with others, with ourselves, our purpose, our next greatest idea?

Practical Tip: Decades of story and communication coaching work have taught me that walking is the best way to draw a story out of ourselves or someone else. Where you walk doesn’t matter. All that matters is you walk and listen out the story that wants to be heard.
