Stories From Women Who Walk

60 Seconds for Wednesdays on Whidbey: What the Heart Needs to Hear.

Episode Summary

I will continue to create these episodes in the hope that whatever your heart needs to hear in that moment will be found right here in the space of these 60 Seconds - count on it!

Episode Notes

Hello to you listening in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania!

Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is 60 Seconds, your daily dose of hope, imagination, wisdom, stories, practical tips, and general riffing on this and that.

As a pediatric nurse practitioner I learned a good way to feed a toddler: arrange a sample of nutritious food items in front of them and their body will tell them what to reach for whether cheese or fruit or vegetable or even a sweet. The body knows.

Our heart is the same.

Along the journey of creating this body of work I’ve been puzzled by the way in which individual episodes are received. Someone loves this one, somebody else loves that one! My best guess is that the episode you resonate with on a particular day is the one your heart wants to hear. You gravitate toward that message like the ocean tide is drawn to the shore. I will continue to create these episodes in the hope that whatever your heart needs to hear in that moment will be found right here in the space of these 60 Seconds. And you can count on it.
