Episode Notes

Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is 60 Seconds, your daily dose of hope, imagination, wisdom, stories, practical tips, and general riffing on this and that.

Zoom, Zoom.  So few hours - so much Zoom! Who could have foreseen the benevolent overload presence of Zoom in our pandemic lives? No matter what you’re looking for it’s there in abundance, in droves, in duplicate and triplicate. Here's a tip to make Zoom Zoom choosing easier.

In some ways it reminds me of our grocery store aisles - at least our grocery store aisles pre-COVID: a plethora of choices that would make any capitalist do a Happy Dance. You want breakfast cereal? Have we got breakfast cereal! What about pet food? We have more pet food than some countries have human food.  But I digress.

How to choose what to Zoom? I’m reminded of some good words my mom often repeated: "Diane, do you need it? Or do you want it? If you need it, how will you go about getting it? And if you want it what will you do without to have it?"

This is the place to thrive together. Come for the stories - stay for the magic.
