One of my very earliest story mentors was Doug Lipman of Story Dynamics who taught us a short song which was sung in a round with each line repeated 3 times: "What I have to offer is what’s uniquely mine. What’s uniquely mine is that which makes me different. That which makes me different is what I have to offer."
Practical tip: Listen again to the lines of Doug’s song. Consider that your work is a drink of water. People are thirsty to drink what you have to offer.
