Stories From Women Who Walk

60 Seconds: The Miracle of Your One Precious Life.

Episode Summary

How are you enjoying your one precious lfe and what are you giving back in exchange for that gift?

Episode Notes

Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is 60 Seconds, your daily dose of hope, imagination, wisdom, stories, practical tips, and general riffing on this and that.

Walking the wide, deserted beach I paused to sit on a driftwood log and watch the clouds roll by. Looking down to my left I saw a good-sized sea turtle. Green. Inquisitive eyes. Plastic. Maybe a child’s lost toy.

The small gift reminded me of this story. They say that the miracle of your birth is like a sea turtle swimming in the ocean and once every 100 years she surfaces and pokes her head through a loop of seaweed floating on the surface.

Imagine that!
