Stories From Women Who Walk

60 Seconds: What I Owe You Is Conscious Speech.

Episode Summary

What words and ideas do we wish to share - consciously - authentically?

Episode Notes

Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is 60 Seconds, your daily dose of hope, imagination, wisdom, stories, practical tips, and general riffing on this and that.

I’ve been stuck for a time between shipping my work because that’s what Akimbo people do and feeling like my words don’t say what I want to share with you.

I relish words! Whether working as a wordsmith, coach, story artist, writer, or podcaster words are a wide open frontier of possibility, engagement, discovery. Believe it or not I feel it’s part of my job to inquire deeply into the words and ideas I share with you. Why? I owe myself and all of you an obligation of conscious speech to build trust while also offering a moment of insight, inspiration, illumination, information, wisdom, and delight.

Question: Ours is a journey of shared stories. On this journey what if you could pause, look deeply, ask yourself: what words and ideas do I wish to share?

This is the place to thrive together. Come for the stories - stay for the magic.  Speaking of magic, I hope you’ll subscribe, share a nice shout out on your social media or podcast channel of choice, and join us next time!
